A Psychological and Spiritual Perspective on Light Activation, DNA, and the Role of First Nations Elders
Human Bodies as Recovery Centres
Our human bodies can be seen as recovery centres—innately designed to heal and integrate experiences. Within this framework, the First Nations peoples of this planet carry unique gifts in their biological and spiritual coding. Unlike most humans, who are typically born with two strands of DNA, many First Nations individuals are born with higher levels of activation, ranging from three to nine DNA strands. This higher level of genetic activation is one of the reasons they have been appointed by the caretakers of the planetary systems to steward and care for planetary bodies, with Earth being just one of them.
Light Body Activation and Its Challenges
When working with Indigenous peoples as a multidimensional counsellor, my work and the work of others like me, has shown that these higher activations of light and DNA codes create profound energetic phenomena. Specifically, when a First Nations individual embodies their ancestral lineages and light body activation, there is a harmonic resonance that radiates beyond the physical body’s density. This light body activation holds frequencies that are higher than the trauma and emotional density often experienced by humans, allowing for profound healing—but it can also be overwhelming.
Trauma can be brought to the surface as this light body activates. It can emerge because the light’s energy is so intense that it brings unresolved pain, memories, and experiences to the forefront. This is where things can become difficult, as many individuals struggle to integrate this overwhelming energy within a human form alone. This is why First Nations elders have long played an integral role in guiding their communities through these spiritual awakenings. They offer wisdom, guidance, and support to help manage these processes so that the individuals and communities involved can maintain balance and healing.
Connection to the Land as a Grounding Anchor
Being connected to the land has proven to be a vital part of this spiritual management. The Earth itself carries its own natural frequency, which acts as a harmonising and grounding force. When a First Nations person connects with the land—whether by engaging in ceremony, connecting to traditional practices, or simply being in natural spaces—the Earth helps mediate the intense light activation within the body. It provides a stabilizing frequency that aligns the light body and integrates trauma and spiritual awakenings in a gentle, supportive way.
This is why the land is sacred to Indigenous communities—it is not just a physical place but a living, breathing energy that assists in the spiritual journey and healing process. Through their connection to the Earth and their relationship with the caretaking of these planetary systems, First Nations communities demonstrate a model of balance, wisdom, and restoration for all of humanity.
A Collective and Ancestral Journey
This process of integration, guidance, and healing is not simply an individual journey. It is a collective and ancestral journey supported by a web of community, ceremony, and wisdom passed down through generations. Through the guidance of elders and the spiritual grounding offered by the Earth itself, this sacred journey of light and awakening can become less overwhelming and more empowering.
The Sacred Power of Eye Contact
When eye contact is made with a First Nations elder or community member, it is more than just a simple gaze. It is a sacred acknowledgment—a recognition of shared ancestry, history, light, and purpose. Eye contact becomes a bridge for connection, grounding, and sacred exchange, amplifying this understanding and respect within the space of shared healing and light activation.
Lessons for Humanity
These ancient systems of healing, land connection, and ancestral guidance offer powerful insights into how we can support ourselves on our spiritual paths. They remind us that we are interconnected—not only with one another but with the Earth itself and the broader web of creation. Through these connections, balance, healing, and transformation can be achieved.
